His experience as an activist and advocate began in high school over a decade ago. He has worked in spaces dedicated to the liberation of Black, Indigenous, Queer, and Disabled people in addition to larger anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, and climate justice projects. He has organised rallies, campaigns, and petitions in his career. This practical experience, paired with his work towards both a Bachelor of Environmental Management (majoring in ecology) and a Bachelor of Arts (double majoring in politics and international relations and creative writing), ensures that his activism is grounded in both lived experience and academic understanding.

In the depths of lockdown, when he was on hour fourteen of yet another game of ‘Stardew Valley’, Lungol’s computer started auto-playing the first episode of ‘A Crown of Candy’ on YouTube. Too lazy to turn it off, he let the video play and his life was forever changed. Since then, ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ has become his favourite game of all time. He has found himself in the incredibly fortunate position of being a professional Dungeon Master. Having run games for three years now, he considers himself an expert at storytelling, improvisation, and customer satisfaction. He can tailor each of his sessions to any of your unique needs. Furthermore, he places an incredibly high priority on player safety. It is so very important that everyone has fun in an environment where they can thrive and excel whilst still remaining safe and respectful.

Where I’m From

My ancestry spans both the Southern regions and the New Guinea Islands regions of Papua New Guinea. Both my parents are half Southern and half New Guinea Islander. My maternal grandfather was from Manus and my maternal grandmother was from Central. My paternal grandmother was from New Ireland and my paternal grandfather was from Milne Bay.

I split my childhood between Papua New Guinea and Fiji, spending nine years in Port Moresby and nine years in Suva. I grew up in the islands, a fact that I am immensely grateful for and incredibly proud of.
