Wekina Productions Discord Server Code of Conduct
Introduction
Welcome to Our Discord Server!
This Code of Conduct (CoC) outlines the standards all members agree to abide by in joining this online space. Acting in violation of the CoC may result in either a muting, suspension, or banning at the discretion of the Admin and Moderation Team (AMT). A minor violation will lead to a single strike, resulting in either a mute or a suspension. A total of three strikes leads to a complete ban from the server. Major violations will result in an immediate ban. We have a zero tolerance policy for violent, antagonistic, harassing, or hateful behaviour. Although all are welcome in our server, the safety of the most marginalised among us is our top priority.
Encouraged Behaviour
We are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of level of experience, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, or other similar characteristic. With that being said, this server centres the safety of the most marginalised among us - Black and/or Indigenous folks.
Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:
Being kind and courteous to others
Using welcoming and inclusive language
Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
Collaborating with other community members
Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
Focusing on what is best for the community
Showing empathy towards other community members
Unacceptable Behaviour
As a radical space, all forms of violence (including lateral and oppressive) are unacceptable. This includes gaslighting, tone-policing, forcing emotional/mental labour, and microaggressions. Additionally, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated on this server.
General Behaviours to Avoid
Engaging with other members privately outside of the server (via direct message or on a separate platform) without their explicit consent
Publishing or sharing content from behind paywalls in public channels
Sharing logs or screenshots from the server outside the server
Harassment includes:
Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion

Deliberate intimidation

Public or private harassment

Responding with “RTFM”, "just google it” or similar phrases in response to help requests
Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate
Conclusion
This CoC is not exhaustive and any inappropriate behaviour not covered herein is still subject to the minor and major violation framework outlined above. Please just be kind, decent, generous, and compassionate to everyone else in our community, including yourself. As a space that values restorative justice, committing any sort of violation within the aforementioned framework does not necessarily have to result in carceral consequences. Should you commit a minor (or even a major) violation, your place in our community does not have to be forfeited if you show a commitment to taking accountability, making amends, and making repairs. This framework prioritises specified, actionable steps towards resolution. As such, there is no general roadmap for repairing harm. All cases will be assessed and processed on an individual basis.
Thank you for reading through our CoC. We look forward to engaging with you online.
